1. Getting Started

Start Guide. The installation process is a piece of cake. The entire
software package including all support material is under 20MB. Nest Egg
Software works with all versions of Windows. The download automatically
includes a 30-day free trial. This video shows you the installation process.
2. Account Setup, Balance Sheet, and Income Sources
This video shows you how to set up your account, how to input and navigate
the balance sheet and describes the income sources tab. The balance sheet
allows you to organize your assets (Nest Egg's) into two major categories:
savings and investment accounts, and other retirement income sources.
This creates a nice “snapshot” of your investment portfolio.
3. Basket Illustration
The "basket" or ladder illustration is the heart of the application.
This is where you can set the assumptions for each retirement plan scenario
and make necessary changes to ensure the longevity of your retirement
income.
4. Dashboard View
The dashboard is a graphical display of the basket illustration. This is where you can see how changes in the assumptions affect the overall integrity of the income plan.
5. Making Adjustments
Adjustments will need to be made as life goes on and things change. The beauty of this retirement planning software is that you can add, delete, and change the values of your various investment Nest Egg's with ease. 6. Print Results
An important part of any retirement planning application is the ability to convey the strategy to others in an easy to understand manner.
